Amy and Kendra have been partnering together in various ways for several years. It just felt natural when the opportunity to team up came to us through divine alignment in 2024. We shared a common dream to have our own healing spaces near the water, an element we both find so healing and transformative, and this space gave us the opportunity to have just that- together! We are honored to serve the Bristol and surrounding communities and we're a proud member of the Bristol Merchants Association.
Our logo embodies our mission and all that we strive to offer in service to our clients and our community.
Healing- The heart represents our approach to all that we do as we support you through your healing journey. We lead with a pure heart, unconditional love and compassion and green and pink are both associated with the Heart Chakra.
Expansion- The circle represents the notion of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, and Source. Many of us here on this planet today are expanding and growing into higher versions of ourselves, strengthening our connection to our higher, multi-dimensional selves and bringing in more aligned ways of living on the path of ascension.
Community Connection- the Seed of Life reflects how all of life is interconnected and that life is divine creation. The Seed of Life is sacred geometry that is found throughout nature. We bring our community together with the knowledge that we are all connected, we are divine, and we are all a part of nature.
The name Ascending Hearts Wellness brings this all together!

BSN, RN, HNB-BC- Holistic Nurse, Co-Founder, Usui Reiki Master - Teacher, Shamanic Reiki Master, Cacao Guide, Channeler, Akashic Records Reader
Hello and welcome. I’m Amy - a Rhode Island native and proud aunt of two beautiful nieces. Nursing and holistic healing have been my calling for as long as I can remember. I became a Registered Nurse in 2013 and earned my national board certification in holistic nursing in 2016.For six years I served as an Integrative Therapy Nurse at a hospital in Providence, RI, offering holistic care to patients across every unit, including the ER. My work included Reiki, massage, meditation, breathwork, progressive muscle relaxation, and guided imagery to help reduce anxiety, pain, depression, insomnia, and fatigue. Supporting healthcare staff was just as important: I helped create a widely accepted Reiki program, trained and certified more than 80 staff members from all departments in Reiki, and partnered with the Providence TM Center to help coordinate “Heal the Healers Now” - a program that provided Transcendental Meditation training to over 80 healthcare workers during and after the pandemic. These efforts were recognized by Dr. Tony Nader and the David Lynch Foundation, including CEO Bob Roth. I also served on the hospital’s Wellness Committee and its peer support team “Here for Us,” receiving certification in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and suicide prevention. In 2023, I was honored to present “Healing Our Own: A Peer Support Team for Nurses” at the ANCC National Magnet Conference for Nursing at the nation’s largest convention center in Chicago.
My Training and Approach
I’m a Usui Reiki Master-Teacher, honored to have studied with Gladys Ellen, and a Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner, trained by Marg Tudino. My work with ceremonial cacao includes mentorship with Alexa Iya Soro and a 10-week in-depth training with The Mayan Wisdom Project. From an early age I felt called to the energetic art of channeling - receiving loving guidance from higher consciousness. Channeling is woven naturally into my Reiki and cacao offerings. I view it as a therapeutic practice that helps us access wiser energies to support healing and clarity. To deepen this gift, I trained extensively with Ashley V. and completed several advanced programs in channeling galactic energies, shamanic energies, archangels, ascended masters, and the Akashic Records. These practices have been profound in my own journey of remembering my divine essence. They have shown me how much power there is in healing together - and how essential it is to shift from old beliefs about our worth to the deeper truth of our shared alignment with pure Love.
My Mission
Today I’m now fully focused on bringing holistic healing into the community. I love hosting classes, ceremonies, and events that help people reconnect to themselves and to one another. I continue to support healthcare workers in these community settings as well. I’m deeply grateful to co-create Ascending Hearts Wellness in Bristol, RI with Kendra. Together we’ve built a space where Reiki, ceremonial cacao, sound healing, channeling, and other holistic practices are offered in a sacred container for personal and collective transformation. I’m here to serve with BIG LOVE, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your healing journey.

Hi, I’m Kendra—a lifelong seeker, nurturer, and empath. My life's journey has taken me across the country, from California, Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, and now I’ve landed where I call home in the beautiful East Bay of Rhode Island where I live with my husband, two sons, and French Bulldog. With an MS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, I’ve spent over 20 years in the world of recruiting and talent development—leading global development programs and workshops on topics such as leadership, communication, and behavioral dynamics. But alongside my corporate path, I’ve felt deeply called to explore the emotional, energetic, and spiritual layers that shape our inner world.
In 2022, I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that opened the door to my own healing work. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in sound, frequency, vibration, & energy healing—earning Master Practitioner Certifications in Usui and Shamanic Reiki, Sound Healing with Tuning Forks, and a Flower Essence Practitioner certification. These practices have become sacred tools that I now share with others to support emotional release, energetic alignment, and reconnection with the authentic self. My approach weaves together science, spirit, and intuition. Every private session is personalized, utilizing sound, energy work, and/or flower essences to gently guide you back to your own innate healing power. I believe that healing can be an individual and collaborative process—and sometimes, we just need someone to walk beside us, witness our journey, and hold space with compassion. This is where our group events and gatherings can be such a profound and transformative process- as we heal and expand together in circle, in community. It’s my greatest honor to offer this support and to serve the East Bay and surrounding communities with heart and presence. I’m endlessly grateful to the teachers, mentors, and clients who continue to shape my path. I look forward to walking with you on yours.
